Round Rock Hobbies is no longer in business.

Please support a local internet site to continue getting batteries and chargers. http://rcdans.com/ is the website. This was Round Rock Hobbies perferred vendor.

Stay tuned for more to follow for a "Click Only" local hobby shop. Go to http://apollorc.com/. Last information is this web site will focus on the car guys primarly.

Need your surface vehicle fixed? Looking to buy or sell a used one? Contact Parke Fishel at pfishel@gmail.com or (512) 789-5766. We worked with Parke a lot and he is good at what he does and he is fair both in price and service. He keeps parts on hand, both new and used, and he usually has 10-15 vehicles as well. He started back in 1992 and has not stopped since then. He is also working to get a website up called http://ZingThingz.com. Keep checking for it as it should be up soon!

If you are looking for a physical hobby shop, please continue supporting Hobbytown USA located in the same shopping center as Fry's at Mopac and Parmer. They have a huge selection and good prices. Round Rock Hobbies and Hobbytown USA have worked well together. If you are north, might take a look at Peacock Hobbies located in Temple! Huge Selection, Great Prices, go check it out! http://www.peacock-glass-mirror.com/id60.html. The owner does it as a hobby only...

It is important to keep the hobby alive and local hobby shops are how that is done. Shopping online from a non-local, especially non-USA web site does nothing but hurt everyone. Yea, you will save some money, and over time, you will be flying / driving alone. Check the accuracy, go to your local field or track and see how many new folks you find and how they started the hobby. Additionally, figure out how many recently got back into the hobby and why / how.

Again, thank all of you for the support and the many relationships that have developed as a result of Round Rock Hobbies.
